Here are some of the things I do for my skin care rituals. This information is meant to be a guide so feel free to use the ideas here or create something all your own.
First find a place that feels good to do your skin care and keep it beautifully displayed. This is your skin care alter. Your skin care rituals can be a s long or as short as you would like. This depends on your energy and time. I may light some candles and play some relaxing music when I have more time to dedicate to my skin ritual. I do my skin care in both the morning and evening. I start by taking a deep breath and then set an intention for the results I would like to have.
“I desire to feel radiant and glow from the inside out!”
Next start applying your products. Take a moment to enjoy every part of this experience. Notice the feel of your products. What scents are you smelling? Listen to your skin. What is it telling you? What does it need in this moment? As you massage or tap your products into your skin remember your intentions. You can also incorporate skin care tools such as jade rollers, guasha stones or other facial tools. Your skin care ritual can be as long or as short as you would like. It all depends on what you need in that moment. Finally know what works for your skin. Finding the right products for your skin’s needs will help in creating an effective skin care ritual.
Bringing intention into my routine has made my everyday tasks so much more meaningful!
“Live less out of habit and more out of intent.”
